Judy Lewis, owner of Celebrations Catering Services, began to learn her craft as a child in the midst of a large Italian family. The delicious recipes passed between generations and the traditions of hospitality and sitting down to the dinner table are at the core of Celebration's motto- Food, Friends, Life. However, Judy also had a passion for beauty and a drive to present food so that it looked as beautiful as it tasted delicious. She honed her skills as a young mother, making certain that the school dinners and church banquets in which she was involved always surpassed the ordinary. She was determined that the attendees would never know they were in a cafeteria or think of the menu as potluck.
When husband Jerry's work took their family from Seattle to California, Judy's desire to create beauty resulted in the opening of That Added Touch~Flowers, Baskets, Ribbons & Gifts in the San Francisco bay area. While delivering gorgeous floral creations to her clients, she continued to assist them with her keen eye for room arrangement and flow, color, table linens and decoration, and of course food presentation.
Upon the family's return to the Puget Sound, Judy opened Celebrations Catering Services in 1991 in Lynnwood. From that time, Judy and staff have assisted clients from King and Snohomish Counties in making their events truly memorable with the perfect menu and flawless presentation.
Among a family of five children and 14 grandchildren, Judy is joined by her husband Jerry as Business Manager, daughter Lora as catering coordinator, and granddaughter Briana as Head Chef. Others get pulled into service for large events, making this a true family owned and operated business.
